A delegation of Muslim elders, led by the Chief Imam of Bukuru Central Mosque, Da Adamu Ibrahim Na Vom, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Jos South Local Government Area, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung. The visit aimed to express solidarity and discuss key challenges facing the Muslim community.  

During the meeting, the elders commended the Chairman for his leadership and appreciated the nominations they received to participate in this year’s pilgrimage. They also highlighted pressing issues affecting their community and sought his intervention.  

In response, Hon. Dung who is the Deputy ALGON Chairman thanked the elders for their visit and acknowledged their support during and after his election. He reiterated his commitment to an open-door policy, assuring that all residents of the LGA would be carried along in his administration. He also promised sustained engagement with community leaders to address their concerns.  

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their dedication to peace and development in Jos South.
