‎In a demonstration of compassion and service, appointees of the Jos South Local Government Council have marked the birthday of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung, with a humanitarian outreach to selected Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities across the Local Government Area.
‎
‎The delegation, led by the Secretary of the Council, Hon. Dusu David Daggwi, comprised Supervisory Councilors, Special Advisers and other appointees of the Executive Chairman.
‎
‎At the various facilities visited, the delegation presented cash donations and essential hospital items to patients undergoing treatment, while offering words of encouragement and prayers for their speedy recovery.
‎
‎The Nurses-in-Charge and patients warmly received the delegation and expressed appreciation for the gesture, offering prayers for the continued success of the Executive Chairman and his administration.
‎
‎The delegation noted that the initiative was designed to make the Chairman’s birthday a celebration of service, compassion and humanity, rather than merely a personal occasion. It also reflects the commitment of the Sei Vwel Administration to prioritising healthcare and the wellbeing of residents.
‎
‎The outreach further provided an opportunity to encourage residents to patronise Primary Health Care facilities within their communities, particularly for appropriate healthcare needs.
‎
‎The birthday outreach reaffirmed the administration’s belief that leadership is ultimately about people, service and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
